EVDN. returns with SECOND THOUGHTS, a dynamic single from his upcoming LP set to release in 2024. The track features pulsing synth tones paired with a syncopated bassline and a funky drum groove, reminiscent of Squarepusher’s style but with a more relaxed feel. This blend of jazz, electronic, and synthwave elements reflects EVDN.’s ongoing exploration of sound.
The release follows EVDN.’s debut album, TENSION/RELEASE, which garnered praise from BBC Radio and KCRW, as well as inclusion in Spotify’s Fresh Finds: Jazz. In a strategic move, he plans to release one single each month leading up to the album launch, showcasing his growth as an artist and his commitment to evolving his sound.
